Geneva Irish Association

The Geneva Irish Association was established in 1975 and has a long tradition of celebrating links between Ireland and Switzerland. 

The Association holds regular events in the Geneva area throughout the year.

New members are always welcome.

Why join our Association?

We provide a focal point in Geneva for all who are Irish or Friends of Ireland.
We promote Irish social and cultural activities.
We support further understanding between Ireland and our host country Switzerland.

Activities

We organise  a wide range of regular social activities, we provide those with a connection to or love of Ireland an opportunity to meet with the large Irish community and other nationalities living and working in Geneva and throughout Switzerland.

Membership

Membership of the GIA is open to those who are Irish and those who are friends of Ireland.

Committee

Our volunteer committee of 7 represent and execute the Association's objectives and are elected annually by the members:
